bLOCK PARTY

A drawing is held in May and September for the Friendship Block recipients, with two to three members each drawing.

The winner(s) determine a block pattern and provide(s) instructions and fabrics desired.

Members volunteer to construct and donate the blocks. Those eligible to submit a request for blocks must have belonged to the Guild for at least six months and must have completed at least two Friendship Blocks for two other members.

The first recipient each year is the longest participating member who has never won.

GUILD CHALLENGE

The Guild may choose to hold a creative quilt challenge, based on a selected theme.

FRIENDSHIP
GROUPS

These groups are a great way to make new friends, learn new skills or improve skills. Contact the Friendship Group Chairperson.

There are more than 15 groups offering a wider variety of interests...and there’s always room for a new group!

Friendship groups are also asked to participate at some level in Guild fund-raising activities.

Share and Share Alike

QUILT FRAMES:
The Guild owns large basting/quilting frames, available for member’s use. Contact a member of the Board for further information.

WELCOME TEAM

Those on the Welcome Team are committed to making certain that all new folks feel a part of the group. They are happy to show you around at meetings!

LUCKY BLOCK

Get a jump start on a new project by making one of our Lucky Blocks and winning enough to make an entire quilt!
